The transformation of an icon

From 1974 to 2010, this fixture of the San Francisco skyline served as an office building and the longtime home to the California State Automobile Association (widely known as “AAA”). Over the course of 12 months, we removed the 1970’s era concrete panels, piece by piece, and replaced them with floor-to-ceiling glass. The short video captures the transformation of this San Francisco icon.
